WP4 “EMP/HPM Test Bench Experiments” finished on time by completing successfully the last and critical task of EMP/HMP EMC experiments. In these experiments, the car electronics were exposed to HPM (High Power Pulse) and UWB (Ultra Wide Band) waveforms. During the EMC test campaign several disturbance effects were observed and useful results were drawn regarding the type of the waveform that could cause engine stop as well as regarding the vulnerable automotive units.
